Pointy Pumps Please

Emmanuelle Alt is my style peg talaga! She wears basics so well, no extra embellishments necessary. Plus, I want her pointy pumps. It can't be just any pointy pair. It has to be the exact same pair as hers.  So I did a bit of sleuthing on the net, trying to get a closer look at her shoes...

GOTCHA! The perfect pointy pair of pumps is...

...Jimmy Choo's Agnes pump in black suede. It's part of Jimmy Choo's 24:7 Collection. According to Net-a-Porter, we need to size up on these babies. The 37.5 is still available.

OMG. Should I? Could I? Would I? The suspense is killing me. The way a great pair of shoes should, actually.

Meet Bree & Friends

The heat of summer can't be beat, but why fight it? I suggest you just get friendly with Jimmy Choo's Spring/Summer 2010 collection!

This Bree bag in chalk is so summery! In luxe but casual perforated leather!

For a pop of color, the green version isn't bad either!

Incidentally, if you are looking for clutches for going out in the evenings, here's a couple that are pretty cool! I love how this one is dressy enough to go with formal wear, but hip enough to be paired with leather leggings.

Loving how star-studded these Zulu clutches are! Can totally go from day to night too!

This Zulu clutch with the butterfly details is tough yet feminine!

Now, the shoes for this season are pretty badass! The Quito sandal in embossed leather is so sexy! All those thin straps criss-crossing about!

The Nevis sandal is great for evening! Shiny shimmering crystals set on metallic black suede - simple but stunning!

The Zena platform is the sandal featured in this season's ad! 130mm platform sandal in natural snake print leather with an illusionist half wood, half Perspex heel. Crazy good!

You likey? I do! But I must save, no more bags and shoes for me!

Choo 24:7

Forget the "It shoe". An indicator is Jimmy Choo, with the label currently launching Choo 24:7 - a collection of their best sellers in various colors and skins. While blogs and magazines are awash with photos of women wearing towering platforms and clomping about in insane wedges, the woman with an eye for the future knows that the best buys of any season will always be the classics. The sort that are versatile enough to be worn from day to night, for years on end. Because, isn't that what value for money is all about?

According to WWD.com, the Choo 24:7 line is "comprised of a tightly edited group of relevant footwear classics — from a mid-height pump in leopard to a sleek flat for day, all the way to a more daring strappy high-heeled platform for evening." It debuts this month in the US in Jimmy Choo boutiques, as well as in stores such as Saks Fifth Avenue and Nordstrom.

“We selected what a woman really needs from her closet,” said company founder and president Tamara Mellon, who spearheaded the initiative.

Jimmy Choo chief executive officer Josh Schulman said the line is priced from $395 to $1,295.

In Manila, Choo 24:7 launches alongside the Spring/Summer 2010 collection and will be in store from February 2010. Jimmy Choo is exclusively distributed by Stores Specialists, Inc. (SSI) and is located at Greenbelt 4, Ayala Center, Makati City.
