Sign Up & Splurge with Smart Infinity and SSI

If I were to write down what's currently on my shopping/wish list for the family, it would be:

1) An Olympia Le Tan book clutch. I adore her stuff! So precious and intricately embroidered, they are pretty much heirloom pieces we can pass on to our daughters. As with all heirloom quality pieces though, they come with an insane price tag aka not within my current budget.

Thankfully, I discovered this Olympia Le Tan book clutch for LeSportsac via Chuvaness. Available at LeSportsac in Estancia Capitol Commons too. Yes, I called to ask.

2) A warm but stylish jacket for Dada's upcoming business trip. Dada knows what he likes, and he's had his mind set on a classic navy jacket of great quality that he can wear for many, many years.

3. A cute but practical wheelie bag for Beriray, for next school year. A bigger bag means more subjects, which also means more lessons for me to tutor. But before we get to that, let's enjoy summer first, and shopping for a cute wheelie bag.

4) Cute toys for the boys. Wala lang, I think Xavi and Tepper will enjoy playing with this, when they're both big enough to know they are not supposed to put the small parts in their mouths. Heehee.

James Chi, Marketing manager for Smart Infinity, stated, “This is one of Smart Infinity’s means to let our clients know that we are here to give the best of every mobile and data experience. It’s really one thing to give them plans that cater to their demands—such as network reliability and quality service—and it’s another fulfilling experience to know that your needs are being thought of.”

Chi added, “Previously, we bundled our plans with gadgets and premium appliances; this time, our subscribers get to shop for the premium brands they want for themselves! That in itself is quite an offer.”

And I would have to agree. It was such a thrill to tick off items from my shopping list without having to shell out cash, thanks to Smart Infinity!

Saving and Shopping has never been this rewarding!

If like me, you have a BDO Rewards Card that is!

Because from now until December 31, 2014, BDO Rewards cardholders get to shop for FREE at our favorite stores! Just imagine if you have 100,000 rewards points. That’s equivalent to a Php100,000 shopping spree!

How? We just simply convert our BDO Rewards points from qualified BDO bank transactions, SM and retail partner purchases to gift certificates from RSSI (Benefit Cosmetics, Shiseido, Topshop, River Island, Warehouse, Howards Storage World, True Value, Daiso Japan, etc), Resorts World Manila (Adidas, Bally, Beyond the Box, Bvlgari, Pandora, Rimowa, Rolex, etc) and select Lucky Chinatown Mall stores, Rustans, Marks & Spencer, Debenhams, Mango, 7 for All Mankind and more.

Redemption is easy! If you are already a BDO Rewards cardholders just go to your BDO branch of account and look for the branch manager or marketing officer to fill up the redemption form. Another way to convert points is through the BDO Rewards call center hotline, at +02 631-8000

Branch or call center will then submit request to BDO Rewards Marketing and your GCs will be delivered to your branch of account so you can claim your GCs.

If you don’t have a BDO Rewards card, but your parents or a sibling has one, you may redeem their points for shopping GCs, with their permission, of course. To save them the hassle, you can even be the one to do the redemption for them, all you need is an authorization letter!

More to Try at Marks & Spencer

Marks & Spencer’s new bakery line of muffins, sponge rolls, and tubs of sweet munchies are now available in M&S stores at Greenbelt 5, Glorietta 4, Trinoma, Shangri-La mall, SM Megamall, Alabang Town Center and SM Mall of Asia.

Here's a couple of what you'll find in store:

1. Choccocino muffin. A delicious moist coffee muffin loaded with big chunks of creamy milk and indulgently rich dark chocolate. A pack of 4 costs P195. No photo, but I can tell, that sounds yum!

2.  Extremely chocolate muffin. Loaded with chunks of creamy milk chocolate and richly indulgent dark chocolate. I'll bite into that!

3. Moist and fluffy blueberry muffin. Looks fresh out of the oven, huh?

4. Sponge rolls. Available in strawberry, chocolate, coffee and cappuccino flavors for P195 per box.

5. When the munchies attack, fight it with,  tubs of Flapjacks, Chocolate Mini Rolls, Chocolate Crunchflakes and Caramel Cracklepops

Caramel Cracklepops are chocolate covered nuggets of chewy, caramel-drenched rice puffs. I think I can eat a tub of this by myself! No sharing!

Marks & Spencer is exclusively distributed by Rustan Marketing Specialists, Inc.

Healthy Meals at Marks & Sparks

And you can whip out a full dinner too without much effort!

Let's start with an appetizer of bacon cheeserolls...

Did that tickle your palate? Now shall we go on to the main course? Chicken ala Kiev, just for you!

Now, that was yum! Save room for dessert ok!

If you can't cook to save your life, you know where to go! And if convenience isn't enough of a come on, relish in the thought that all the food items from Marks & Spencer are free of artificial colors and flavorings.

Since March 2006, M&S food items have also been hydrogenated fat-free. And all their chilled ready meals have no MSG.

If you don't believe that, just check out the M&S food labels for everything you need to watch out for.

Incidentally, here's a tip for those who plan on traveling to London for the holidays. If you want to save money on food (because you'd rather channel your allowance to your shopping fund, heehee) I suggest you check out the food aisles at Marks&Spencer (there's almost always one on every High Street). Just get a bottle of mineral water, a sandwich and crisps, and voila! A meal for less than GBP 5 (well, during my time at least! Maybe now that'll set you back GBP 10? Anyway, that's still cheap by London standards)!

Marks & Spencer is exclusively distributed by Rustan Marketing Specialists, Inc. and is available at Greenbelt 5, Glorietta 4, Shangri-La mall, Gateway, Alabang Town Center, Trinoma, Megamall, Mall of Asia, SM Pampanga, Marquee Mall, Ayala Cebu, Robinson’s Place Malate, and SM North Edsa. Ready meals are now available in the freezer cabinets of Shangri-La Plaza Mall, Glorietta 4, Greenbelt 5, Alabang Town Center and Rustan’s Fresh Power Plant Mall.
