My Style Profile on Preview

It was a thrill to be asked by Tina Carillo of Preview Magazine to be part of their December 2014/January 2015 issue. Yup, that same issue with the radiant December bride, Marianne Rivera, on the cover. Plus, here's a FUN FACT: Berry had a cameo in the Style Profile too!

Of course, because Berry & I were so excited for this to come out, Dada was able to buy early. But my family had trouble finding this issue as most stores are already sold out. I hope you can still get a copy before January ends.

For a digital copy of Preview, you may still download the December 2014/January 2015 issue via buqo on your iPad or iPhone!

How to Dress Your Bump: Smart Parenting December 2014

Mia Fausto Cruz and Sche Perez of Smart Parenting asked me for some pregnancy style tips on how to dress a baby bump over the holidays, and while the holidays have passed, and we are now onto the latest thing, the arrival of Pope Francis over this long weekend, thought I'd still share this with you.

These are timeless looks that I think, any woman, pregnant or not, can refer to when you are stumped on what to wear.

Pull & Bear in Manila

If you've been to Pull & Bear in Ngee Ann City in Singapore, you'd be surprised at how huge Pull & Bear in Megamall Fashion Hall is. It's probably 10, even 15 times the size!

Pull & Bear in Megamall is at the 2nd floor of Megamall Building D, right below Tuan Tuan and Ippudo.

They had a launch back in October, but I was heavily pregnant then, and decided not to go anymore. And then, I found out everything was 20% off that day, and they were giving out prizes, like iPads. Sayang. Hahaha.

Here's how the store looks at the inside.

It's really huge! So huge they can fit a converted Volkswagen Kombi inside the men's section, just to showcase shoes.

And by the looks of it, the men's section is well-stocked. A teenage boy or a guy in his 20s who is into dressing up would love it here.

While I find Pull & Bear's clothes to be a bit "young" for my aesthetic, I spied a cute denim jumpsuit. Or am I too old to be wearing one? Heeheehee.

Uno de 50 Autumn/Winter 2015 Collection

If you're looking for statement accessories, look no further than Spanish jewelry label, Uno de 50.

From chunky silver charmers, to this big-ass pearl ring (which I happily brought home with me)...

To Swarovski crystal-ized...

To in-your-face Swarovski-d out bling rings...

Uno de 50 has that, and more.

Their Autumn/Winter 2015 Connection collection in particular, made up of 4 varied but equally inspired lines tell a compelling story.

Designs from the Magic line reflect the light, colour and shimmer of the Northern Lights through blue, green, grey and pink Swarovski Elements crystals.

The Intimacy line are made up of pieces shaped as keys and hearts of different sizes, rendered in leather and silver-coated metal.

Necklaces from the Vastness line, made entirely of silver-coated metal, have organic shapes that are reminiscent of vegetation capped with snow and ice.

The Forest line consists of nature-inspired elements - "drops of frozen dew, stalactites or pebble stones, as well as other natural elements such as insects or berries and the seeds that precede the arrival of the first snowfalls."

There's a rough-hewn yet gentle quality to Uno de 50 pieces, a free-spirited bohemian vibe that is distinctive and artsy. I can totally see artists, ad agency creatives, and just about anybody who appreciates unique but everyday appropriate pieces to rock these.

Uno de 50 was founded in the late 1990's by a group of designers who decided to establish a brand of fashion jewelry and accessories that would break all existing molds. The brand was called Uno de 50 because they started out with the original philosophy of creating exclusively 50 units of each design, which proved to be an unqualified success. To date, Uno de 50 is in 15 countries, from Spain to Belgium, to Mexico, United States, and now the Philippines (Uno de 50 boutiques are at SM Aura and SM Megamall).
