Shop Mulberry for Target!

Yes, they're sold out every where, but my friend Belle got hold of a lot of pieces ;)

Anyhoo, since some of you don't have eBay accounts, Belle has made it possible to shop these "hard-to-get-our-hands-on-collections" through her site: My Bowtique

Here are some of the pieces she has on hand:

Best news of all, she will ship to Manila! So that's almost as good as being there, without lining up!

Belle accepts payments through Paypal and as soon as payment has cleared, she will mail the bags. Small bags are mailed to the Philippines for $25, and she'll charge $31 for shipping the medium satchel bags. Just message her or email her at florabelle.r@gmail.com if you're looking for a particular design or size. She might have it on stock, so best to check with her if you don't see it in her album.

Which reminds me, she'll be lining up for H&M x Lanvin, so if you've got dresses or accessories you've got your eye on, just holler! We'll ask her to get for us!

This Could be Your Lucky Day: Mulberry x Target

Supposedly, 10/10/10 is an extremely lucky day. That was the day the Mulberry for Target Collection dropped as well. Folks in Manila, you're in luck too! You might just be able to get your hands on a piece of retail history, because my friend Belle scored 2 bags, and she's willing to ship to Manila. You just need to email her/contact seller for the exact shipping amount.

Here's the bag that's up for bidding on eBay:

Here are the deets:
  • Liner Material: Cotton
  • Shell Material: Cotton
  • Handbag Scale: Regular
  • Apparel Treatment: Faux-Patent, Quilted
  • Garment Details: Piping
  • Interior Features: Slit Pocket, Zip Pocket
  • Handle Type: Double Shoulder Handles
  • Closure Style: Turn-Key Closure
  • Maximum Strap Length: 8.0 "
  • Care and Cleaning: Spot Treat, Wipe Clean With a Damp Cloth
  • Dimensions: Length: 14.0 "; Width: 11.5 "; Depth: 6.0 "

I think it's a really well-made, spacious bag ha. Bidding starts at $55 and with today's Philippine Peso to USD exchange rate, that's not going to be over Php 2,400. I'm estimating, shipping to Manila (via Johnny Air) will be about $25, even less. So, this bag will only cost you no more than Php 3,500 should you win it at $55.

Exciting!  Bid na!

UPDATE: Belle's got a patent tote, and cross body bags from Mulberry x Target as well! Here's a link!

Gilt Free Mulberry, Tucker & John Derian!

Doesn't this bag remind you of a souped up Bayswater? Why yes, because it's from Mulberry for Target!

Get ready for some guilt free shopping! While not exactly free, when you're buying these much awaited pieces from Target's collaborations with Mulberry, Tucker and John Derian, that's almost like shopping without a shadow of buyer's remorse!

Check out John Derian's second installment with Target, if you missed out on the first one, we've got this chance!

Plus! Tucker has some pretty dresses for us girlies as well! Tucker may not be in the same league yet as Gaultier and Anna Sui, but this line for Target looks promising, props to it's designer Gaby Basora!

Like it? I think this is a-mama-mazing! And guess what! If you are a member of Gilt, then you get first dibs on all these collections this August 20! Wootwoo! The Ultimate "Green" Tote

Nothing can be greener than this. A tote bag made out of actual billboard material!

Liberty of London for Target is coming out with a Billboard tote that's available for pre-order now at Target online. Yeah, a Billboard tote. Basically, these:

Taken while walking through Times Square with my sisters and Berry last month!

Will turn into this:

It's a limited edition piece, made out of tarp from the New York City 42nd and Broadway billboards and thus, no two will be alike. So if you want a piece of the Liberty of London x Target action and a piece of NYC, this is what you should go for!

Hey, $29.99 for a limited edition tote is not a bad deal at all! Pre-order now before this goes out of stock! The bags are due to ship out starting September 5, 2010.

Oh! And hey, since we have a lot of billboards in Manila, maybe this is a good way to recycle old billboard ads no? That is, if the tarps haven't been worn out by wind, water and pollution already. But hey, a Vicki Belo Billboard tote sounds so kitschy bad, it's so good! I want one!

Note: Each Liberty of London x Target Billboard bag is unique in color and pattern based on the variance in billboard material used to manufacture it (see first photo to get an idea of what prints to expect).

Sharing My Outfit Day: Buttons A Poppin!

I have errands to run today. So no excuses not to go out! Need to get to the SK-II counter at Saks and get beauty supplies among other pressing matters. Yeah, I haven't really been putting anything on my face except moisturizing sunblock and I think my skin is just getting drier and flakier by the minute. I've run out of the facial treatment lotion and am in desperate need of face powder, which I figured I'll just buy after I give birth. But as my friend Ivy and I agreed, it seems we look older in pictures, and we were lamenting the fact that we don't look as "fresh" anymore! Hahaha! So our mantra for the year is "Ibalik ang Glow!" (Bring back the Glow!) Besides, I've read that SK-II is safe for pregnant women, Cate Blanchett used it while she was pregnant and didn't her skin look great at the time?

So anway, here's another drab neutral outfit composed of old stuff from my closet! See, I scrimp on clothes but splurge on skin care!

Sweater: Mango
Painter Smock Top: H&M
Shorts: Topshop
Leggings: Old Navy
Tights: Target
Boots: Lanvin

Here's the view from the top! I can still see my shoes! Pushing on 17 weeks!

But yeah, buttons are a poppin'!
